The Edison Festival of Light is an annual two-week celebration of the life and work of Fort Myers winter resident Thomas Edison.  Scheduled are:

Edison Day of Discovery - the Thomas Alva Edison Kiwanis Science and Engineering Fair, the Thomas A. Edison Inventors Fair and the new Discovery Village. 
Saturday, January 28th
1-4 pm
Harborside Convention Center

Light up the Town --Formerly known as the City of Palms Block Party
An evening full of musical talent from across the nation as well as special musical performances by various local artists.
February 11th -- The celebrations begin at 4:00pm and will continue until 11:00 pm.

Junior Events -- Juniors up through grade five run in downtown Fort Myers (Corner of Jackson & Main), followed by a parade and coronation of the Junior King and Queen.

Grand Parade, 5K Race, and Stadium Show
