Hall of Famers Jimmy Foxx, Bob Feller, Tris Speaker, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, and Roberto Clemente are just a few of the great players that have graced the Terry Park Field. The Philadelphia Athletics were the first major league team to play at Terry Park. They were followed by the Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Kansas City Royals. Today, over 160 college baseball teams from around the country use Terry Park in the month of March to begin their college season. On May 11th, 1995 the ball field was placed on the National Register of Historical Places by the United States Department of the Interior.
